OpusWA arts orchestra and chorale is a significant performing arts organisation in Western Australia, offering audiences a palette of quality musical experiences, including concerts, recitals, operas, oratorios and music theatre productions.
OpusWA was created in 2019 to offer involvement in a range of musical productions to both recent graduates (predominantly WAAPA) and artists with extensive professional experience, including those with disability. OpusWA evolved though the redevelopment of the ICW Performing Arts Association, that produced music theatre and concerts from 2012 under our founder and artistic director, Ian Westrip OAM.
We are proud to provide our extraordinarily talented WA singers and players with opportunities that are otherwise very limited in Western Australia. Our vision is to create links with educational and community organisations, as well as regional areas which have less access to quality music productions.
The chorale and orchestra are a cooperative and rely on your ticket sales to sustain their efforts. We invite you to support our young people’s aspirations by being a patron of this worthwhile venture.
OpusWA is a registered charity, and we are in the process of achieving tax deductibility status. Your donations will enable us to continue to develop and promote forthcoming performances.
